WORKING WITH SUBSTITUTES: ARCHITECTURE EXHIBITIONS AT HERZOG & DE MEURON
Mathieu Bujnowskyj
Herzog & de Meuron, Lead kitchen and Brand Development


Mathieu Bujnowskyj is Lead of kitchen & Brand Development at Herzog & de Meuron. 
Part of the Communications Department, the kitchen is the multidisciplinary team working on exhibitions, books, and special projects extending from the complete works of the architectural practice. Mathieu joined H&dM in 2012 for an internship and returned in 2017 to join the kitchen where he took on exhibition projects such as Herzog & de Meuron, Royal Academy of Arts, The Incredible World of Photography, and Exploring SongEun Art Space. He was also involved in the early conception and continued development of the Kabinett as a permanent display. 
Mathieu studied at ENSA-Lyon and received his Master’s degree in architecture from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2016. Prior to returning to Herzog & de Meuron, he held a fellowship at the CCA Kitakyushu in Japan.
